As one of the organizers (wearing my Molecular Graphics and Modeling Society &#8216;hat&#8217;), I can say we have an exciting array of speakers and sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>De Novo<\/em> Design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemical Space<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physics-based Modelling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Machine Learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Property Prediction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Virtual Screening<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case Studies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Molecular Representations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It has traditionally taken place every three years, but despite the global pandemic it is returning this year, once again in person in the excellent conference facilities at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheffield.ac.uk\/accommodation\/prospective\/residence-maps\">The Edge<\/a>. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/ical\/070f61bab124f90f288902504de46d16e51575c232f5a2401e4e75a48b9b0fa8%40group.calendar.google.com\/public\/basic.ics\">download the full programme in <strong>iCal<\/strong> format<\/a>, and here is the conference calendar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/embed?src=070f61bab124f90f288902504de46d16e51575c232f5a2401e4e75a48b9b0fa8%40group.calendar.google.com&amp;ctz=Europe%2FLondon\" style=\"border: 0\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting is jointly organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mgms.org\/WordPress\/about\/\">MGMS<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/csa-trust.org\/\">Chemical Structure Association Trust<\/a> (CSA Trust), as well as Prof. Val Gillet and the University of Sheffield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-left is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The MGMS was formed in 1981 to bring together scientists working in different fields of study (such as chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, and computer science) who have a common interest in molecular modelling and graphics. It is a charity run by volunteers from both academia, non-profits, and industry who also have a keen interest in the subject. The Society\u2019s core activities involve the organising of conferences relevant to its community, as well as developing and encouraging scientists at the start of their careers.
